I wanted the power strip to be on my desk shelf instead of on the floor. I needed easy access when I needed to plug something in without having to crawl under the table. This extension fits! As you can see from the photos, it is more of a vertical extension. Not only does it have 9 outlets, but it also has 2 USB ports for charging things like your smartphone. Now those USB ports are only rated for 2.1 amps so things won't charge lightning fast, but honestly it's good enough. You can take off the top of the power supply and use it for something like a wall outlet multiplier. I personally like to have as many outlets on my desk as possible to stay connected. It has a 10 foot power cord which was absolutely perfect for my needs. power supply and you are not blocking any of the other outlets. I have absolutely no complaints about this extension cord. 5 stars across the board for this incredibly well thought out product.
