Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Digital Cooking Candy Thermometer with Stainless Steel Pot Clip - Quick Read & Battery Included by Christina Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buy replacement batteries and you're set for life!

Update: Obviously the power button is tricky, and even when you think you've pressed it, sometimes it's still on. Make sure it's really turned off before tossing it in a drawer, and the battery will last anywhere from a few months to a year. I've bought replacement batteries like 20 for $5 and will have them installed for years to come. When the battery runs out, simply pull back the silicone grip and gently lift the top. There will be a long wire running the full length of the metal thermometer, be careful not to break it! At first it seemed like I couldn't open it, so I gave it a bad review at one point, but actually they just needed to make the battery swap option clearer. For the price it couldn't be better. I'd say it's a two second delay in warming up, definitely not "instantly". But the clip on the side is perfect for preparing sweets and controlling meat too. I always use it for baking, grilling etc.
