Review on ๐Ÿšฒ MTB Comp Vuelta Crankset by Zack Frazier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Did the job converting 1X

This successfully converted an old Shimano Tourney drive train (riveted triple crank) to a 1x with standard 104mm bolt spacing allowing the gearing to be fine tuned with normal narrow wide front sprockets could become. Installation is easy if you have a crank puller. There is no real way to remove square cranks without removing one of them. The cranks themselves are quite light and work well. The threads for both the cranks and the pedals were a bit rough. One can definitely say that this is a cheap alternative to real Shimano/Sram etc. A few good pedal strokes will likely ruin these things, but for my commuter bike that sees limited trail use, they'll do the job just fine, though I can't justify spending more on new cranks than the bike's price.
