This torch is a real beast - in the best possible way. I've used this to remove weeds and moss between patio stones and it got rid of them in no time! I will also use it to burn firewood for some of the sculptures I am working on. I have a small burner that is very good for fine detail, but this burner is more powerful and gives more distance between me and what I'm burning. And the flare is so powerful that I can burn the outer part of my product without burning it completely. All brass fittings look very well made/finished. Nothing looks like it's going to fail or wear out anytime soon. The turbo function is also great. And of course you'll need enough propane when using this. I am very fortunate to have this in my lawn and garden arsenal (as well as my art project arsenal). I highly recommend.
