I am a combat veteran, so I have extensive night vision experience. This is a low light Gen 1 analog device with the classic green display you see in the military. For Gen 1, this is an excellent buy. Most Gen 1 night vision goggles have a little blur or 2 which is natural, like mine. Mine was on the far right of the Monica and is almost invisible. The clarity goes far beyond what I could expect from older technology like this. With two focus lenses, one at the front and one at the back, you get a very sharp image. The field of view is a bit narrow, but it is clear that it will be a monocular. I'm in the suburbs where a lot of ambient light reflects off the atmosphere and I can still see a lot of stars with this product. I also like the fact that it runs on AAx2 batteries so finding power isn't a problem. In addition, it has an infrared light that you can turn on and off as you wish. The case is also quite good and feels natural in the hand. If you're wondering which night vision goggles to buy, stop looking and buy one before it sells out.
