Screws are ok. Be careful with a drill or impact wrench or you can easily tear the head off. Also when driven into a pre-drilled hole in red brick with an impact wrench they gripped and pulled in very quickly and easily and were very tight. I had to take it out, and then when I screwed the screw back in, the hole in the brick fell out and the screw barely stayed in place. I recommend turning the screw only once and not removing it when stepping on the stone. At that time the supplied drill was GARBAGE. I tried to drill through a red brick with it, and after battling it with a cordless drill for an hour, I only went in half an inch. My shoulder hurt from leaning on it with all my strength and weight (I'm a heavy guy). I decided to see if I had another drill bit in one of my Craftman drill bit sets. I've never used masonry drill bits, but when I saw one of these I realized that in my case there are already drill bits with similar tips. I had the same diameter, I tried. Doesn't matter. I was able to drill 3 holes in about a minute! Do yourself a favor and buy a good drill bit for these screws elsewhere!
