The active indicator light is clearly visible even in bright sunlight

I replaced the broken switch in my motorhome with one like this and the interior light was connected to a different pin than the original one so I had to swap the wires. The indicator light is bright, very bright especially at night. I light up my hallway like a bright night light, so I had to put tape on the surface of the seesaw to dim it a bit.
