Take a Closer Look at the R134a Canister Fitting

Not currently available from Revain so this could be a moot point. However, I have just ordered and received this product. The length of the hose is decent, the fittings are metal and of good quality. However, I have not used it yet due to the end of the refrigerant bottle connector. I didn't realize this when I ordered it, but while all other hoses sold on Amazon have a threaded connector for R134a cans, this one has a cam-lock connector. It holds the can securely, but you then have to screw in the fitting to make a butt joint on the R134a can (before piercing the can with the needle t-bolt on top). It has a small rubber gasket, but the threads on the fitting are so loose that when you screw the piece down to try to make a seal at the top of the can, it twists to one side. To me, that means it affects the print. I have decided not to use this one and am looking for another hose with a typical fitting that screws onto a can of R134a. To me, this is the best hermetic seal where freon is less likely to leak into the atmosphere.
