My daughters have fine hair that gets matted so much. It's a constant struggle to make her want to brush her hair because it hurts! This resulted in damage to the tips when using a regular brush. We switched to this and I swear it cuts cleaning time by more than half. It handles tangles very well and is very lightweight, making it easy for my girls to style their own hair. Both brushes have proven themselves in just a few uses. It also reduced the amount of hair that fell out with each comb, which is nice! I don't see that the pink brush is sharp... yes the bristles are different but they don't seem sharp to me or my kids. I wish they were there when I was a kid! Definitely recommend.
