Yes, a larger diameter wheel would be much better, especially on uneven ground. Of course, a more ergonomic grip would probably be better as the miles pile up. Bluetooth compatibility with my iPhone would also be a huge but unnecessary plus. It has an analog counter that resets with a button, but I'm not comparing it to CAD software at this price point. As someone who owns just over 2 acres and needs to know from time to time how much edging I need around the bed, or the approximate length or drain pipe I need, etc., this tool does exactly the job when I need it and take up very little space hanging from a perforated panel 99.99% of the year.
