I want to install this fan on my desk even if it has no battery. It worked all day and I didn't even realize I forgot to plug it in. Let's talk about this power consumption. Right now it's running at max (I usually leave it running at min) after running on battery power all day. I plugged it in and it draws 1.33 amps. When I turn it off, 0.81 of those amps are used to charge a battery that I accidentally drained. The thing consumes almost no energy, blows strongly and is quiet. My only criticism is that the button on the back could be more prominent. A little hard to find by touch. I only mention this because it's very hard to write anything negative about this fan and I want people to know that I'm a real user writing a real review. --- Update 05/06/2020: The battery is fully charged. and a mains-powered fan draws just under 800mA at maximum speed and only 210mA at low speed.
