Review on 🚲 Springfield U-Brake Kit by ODYSSEY by Gabe Ries

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can only say WOW!

I don't really like the U-Brake as it's difficult to adjust and a bit fancy overall. These brakes don't even have a centering adjustment so I was worried they would pull to one side, but they centered perfectly. Installation was very easy. Better quality cable with a linear rather than a coiled body. Be sure to use wire cutters if you need to trim it down, although you can use a dremel with a cutting wheel if you're careful. -Brakes and the pads are so small. I was very impressed with the braking performance when I took the bike for a test ride. I weigh about 170 and had no trouble stopping (or even sliding). I would definitely buy these brakes again as they have just become my new favorite U-brakes.
