Two of these lie One stood on a laptop, burned down by itself. The service said that the heads were stuck and actually fell down right there. The second one was external, hung on the cord, the result was sticking of the magnetic heads. Heads immediately fell down as in the first case. In both cases, the service said a round sum to restore the information and therefore all the information was gone. After that case: I do not recommend buying Toshiba. Store important data separately and in multiple locations
