I bought this for my 2005 Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak. It was plug and play. It fits perfectly. There were several filters in the kit, none of which fit my bike. The bike stood still for 8-10 years, so the filter was fragile. I used a 1/4" to 1/4" brass fitting to connect the filter. Highly recommended
