These replacement fog lights are very bright. They do not suppress the low beam, but supplement it and illuminate the roadside much better. If you're worried they'll blind oncoming traffic, fear not. They're bright but still focused where they should be. They're 6000K, so they're whiter than most factory bulbs. I intend to get the same colored bulbs in LEDs when my low beams go out. I'll definitely look at JDM bulbs for that. The bulbs themselves are packed with LEDs around a cylindrical post, and have more LEDs at a clear domed tip to project the light forward. The stand is machined aluminum and the base is black plastic (probably ABS). The only problem I had was getting the clamp on my 2015 Dodge Journey. There was plenty of room for my fingers behind the fender and I accidentally snapped off one of the clips. I was able to safely secure the other and wiggle it more than any straight would and it held in place giving me confidence that it would stay in place. Luckily it's well in front of the fender so I don't have to worry about water or snow/ice getting in from the road. I highly recommend them, especially for the price (I paid about $12 each). Of course, only time will tell how long they last, but I'm impressed with the quality so far.
