Review on 🛢️ Carter Fuel Pump Module Assembly P75040M by Jeff Henkhaus

Ordered for my 98 Cherokee. I know Carter makes great pumps but I was very disappointed when I took mine apart. The bottom plate/filter is not attached, they are usually riveted, and the spring that pressurizes the pump is also not attached. My situation was sort of an emergency and I couldn't wait for another pump to show up, so I got it working by drilling and riveting the base and ripping apart the top assembly to get the spring in place. I've spent a lot of time with this, but so far it seems to be working fine. I hope that was an isolated case.
