This is my first review after 1 wash and 2 days later without washing again. will be updated after prolonged use. I consider both shampoo and conditioner together. Let's start with the packaging. I love that it feels like it's handmade, but the cap didn't close the bottle properly. He sealed the lid so the product couldn't leak, which is good, but the seal got stuck in the lid after it was unscrewed, so the product itself was technically unsealed and could potentially be tampered with. If it was a food product I would definitely return it as I feel unsafe about consuming it but that was fine as it is a hair product. I had to use tweezers to pry the gasket out of the lid. The smell is quite strange, something looks familiar but I can't figure out what. almost a cure. Ultimately, it's comfortable and refreshing. My hair is about waist length but it's very thin so I used about a quarter spoonful of shampoo to wash my hair. I wasn't satisfied with the amount of foam at that moment. It didn't feel like it was going to get clean, so I squeezed another spoon of the same size onto my hand and continued washing. This time it got very foamy and gave me a feeling of cleanliness. After rinsing, I used an equal sized scoop of conditioner (ie 2 quarters) and left it in for about 5 minutes while in the shower, then rinsed thoroughly. At this point my hair didn't feel as satisfyingly silky smooth and fresh as I love and to be honest I thought I was disappointed with this product. I was happy after going out and drying my hair. By the way, I do not dry with a hair dryer, but wipe with a towel and air dry. As soon as I combed my hair I found that my hair was really soft and healthy looking. It was easy to comb when I usually have terrible tangles and pull out a lot of hair. I have severely damaged ends on the last 6 inches of my hair that was bleached 1 point and dyed purple. My ends are usually very frizzy and sometimes even a disgusting green color due to this three year old damage. I swear this remedy fixed my split ends in one wash. 2 days later my hair still looks and feels silky smooth, smells nice and is easy to comb but my scalp looks greasy which honestly started on day 1 which is quite disappointing. maybe I just didn't rinse out the conditioner well enough because I've been known to do it. Overall I am satisfied with the product and would buy it again at any time. unless prolonged use proves less satisfactory.
