: After further use I am disappointed and still looking for a cleaning knife. Constantly stopping between hides to pluck the hides from the blade is a nightmare that never ends. I need a peeler that will cut and discard the skin! Downgraded from three to one star. After months of using this cleaner I have found the following. The grip is good. It's a large, eye-shaped plastic that's very easy to hold. The blades cut great. BUT. The surrounding metal holding the blade gets in the way when cleaning large items. (I use it to peel very large and sometimes flat Okinawan sweet potatoes.) This extra metal also grabs the skin as it tries to exit the peeler, forcing me to stop and pull the skin out. This is time consuming and wasteful. I really want a replacement for my old air purifier but I can't find anything like it anymore. It seems like the peeling companies came up with a 'better' way to peel and foisted it on all of us. This was the closest thing to my old air purifier so I bought it and I'm still not happy.
