Good buy great quality but check O2 line compatibility

This review has two sections. Quality and Installation QUALITY: Overall, this replacement light is very reliable and looks very solid. The product is well made. It is durable and feels comfortable in the hand. There is no protective cover over the button. If you hardly click it, it turns on. Would it be nice if someone started? Yes. As long as they keep safety in mind. Will definitely be good for someone with experience. Do I recommend a replacement, YES IF AND ONLY IF IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR O2 LINE. INSTALLATION: I basically bought a gasket. I wanted to use the original torch that came with my welder and didn't need a gasket that dragged across the surface I was cutting and I couldn't find a dual roller gasket for PT-31 for less than $15. I tried installing the reel first but the diameter was too small. I thought it would fit because it came with a different PT-31. It's not like this. I noticed the diameter later in the description. Then I thought I was just going to switch heads. My version of the PT-31 has notches on top that allow the head to be inserted into the grip. It won't work if I don't file the sides of my head. Then I decided to go ahead and switch knobs. I desoldered the switch on my original burner. . Soldered as a replacement, everything ok. I was excited, then went to install the head on the O2 line and found that the bolt on the supplied head gasket/bracket would not allow the nut on the line to be tightened. Because of this, the line sits too wide. The nut on the input line has a swivel nut, so it just rotated. The copper connector was not long enough to fully tighten. I thought I would cut off the gasket, but before I did I realized that it held the head between two plastic clips molded into the handle. If I cut it the head could pull on the O2 line and possibly pull, push or twist slightly. pen because I was given a return date. It has taken a while. I could get it to sit in my torch hold. Everything is going well. After changing heads I got the tips mixed up, but when I sat down and played with it I realized that the tips were different and not interchangeable between the two heads. I thought I should have returned them. Now I need to replace all my tips. I checked the list of tip types and found I could return them. Good work remedy! All of this says: 1. If you need a rolling pad, check the inside diameter of your head. No ceramic piece. the actual plastic part.2. If you choose to use the entire torch instead of your own, make sure your O2 line is suitable before desoldering the switch.3. If you decide to adapt it to your current one, make sure the tips are interchangeable.4. Return it if you don't feel comfortable fitting the head to yours. The flux weld head stopped on a jagged part and didn't come out as far as the original.
