Upon receipt of the box and its components, including (i) CD with drivers (Note * This is a custom size mini disk) ; (ii) country adapter with fuse for power supply; (iii) country adapters; (iv) eSata Cable, (v) Power Adapter for each of the 3 options provided - SATA and both IDE. Works great when used correctly. Please note that after installing the driver, turn off the computer completely; Then connect the hard drive you want to access to the StarTech device. then turn on your computer. When the computer boots up, the device driver will be installed on it. ** Make sure the included CD is in the CD tray when you start the computer to ensure the correct driver is installed. After that, you will have easy access to your hard drives. As stated in the manual included in the box, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND being patient, turning off your computer, and then after the computer has completely turned off, disconnecting your hard drive. *Better safe than sorry. If you need heavy use then this device isn't for you, obviously at this price point. However, if like me you need something like this several times a year, this is perfect.
