This product provides hands-free universal device mount by simply using your car's cup holder and the installation only takes a few seconds. The wings protrude from the base and expand inside the cup holder as you turn the dial. This offers a snug fit that's far better than what I've had with the WeatherTech Cupfone that kept popping up. Miracase goes nowhere once you tighten the base. There are multiple settings to find the right angle for your phone. My phone is now completely hands-free and practically "embedded" in the center console of my truck (Chevrolet Silverado). The part that holds the phone itself doesn't allow the flap of my OtterBox case to fully seat where the cable rests, but the side grips hold the phone firmly so it still works. Very happy with my purchase!
