Review on 🔧 Steering Pump Seal Kit for Edelmann 8936 by Matt Simpsons

I really wanted this kit to work with our 2008 Acura TSX (Revain says this kit will fit). pump, get the right parts and close everything again. As soon as I opened up the pump (yes, it's an Acura factory pump), I was concerned because the original seals were much more reliable. Replacement parts didn't fill the channels like original parts did. After that was done, I screwed the pump back to Acura specs and in fact it leaked right away (much worse than before the "rebuild"). Took it apart again to check all the seals were seated properly, reinstalled, still no luck. After attempt #2 I tried applying additional torque to the pump housing to seal it. This fixed the leak, but now there is too much torque on the block, causing something inside to rub (it makes a horrible noise!). I know there are positive reviews on here from other TSX owners, so I'm not sure why the kit doesn't fit our pump (again, it's an original OEM pump).
