It works after plucking the hair.

This was my first dog door installation. I'm a habitual person for home repairs because I can get things done better and cheaper than paying someone to do most of the work as long as I have the money to do it later. I tried that and ended up with a mess and broken blades. Use a professional saw with a carbide-tipped metal cutting blade (about $20). You'll get a clean cut in no time. (To be on the safe side, remove the door before cutting the hole.) I had a serious problem installing it. The top screws didn't go in. The depth of the hole was checked with a gauge. They were measured the same as the bottom holes and the screws were the same length. The problem was that there was some sort of obstruction in the holes preventing the screw heads from fully seating. The AKA screws never made contact with the back of the unit. ) The way I found the problem was to put the cap screws in first and measure the depth of the hole versus the screw holes that worked properly.) I measured the hole depth again and used a ยฝ inch drill bit to drill the top holes to the correct depth - Essentially remove obstructions in holes. By not having a clean drill hole I wasted a lot of time and probably startled the dog with more than a few curses. This dog belongs to my daughter. She moved in for a few days eight months ago. She recently got divorced and moved into my new house with her belongings (new house to house her stuff). Next came her dog. CHILDREN never go. You just get older. The dog is still getting used to the two-door system.
