We recently purchased this product to seal the gas tank on a 1970 Chevy pickup. This truck has been standing for a long time. Once we installed a new engine and got the truck on the road, we had constant problems with rust coming through the fuel line. Even though we had an in-line fuel filter just before the carburetor, we literally had to change it every month. We knew we had to do something when the fuel pump clogged and left us stranded. The tank sealer was pretty easy to use. We removed the tank, emptied it, then rinsed it and let it dry. We then sealed the opening of the transmitter block, pouring in the sealant after a good shake and stir, then turned the tank upside down to make sure we covered the entire interior surface. We waited 96 hours as suggested in the instructions before reinstalling the tank and filling it with gas. All fuel problems are gone. The fuel filter now stays clean and the truck runs great. I have used POR 15 on my classic car and truck restoration projects for many years. POR makes great products that you can trust and this fuel tank sealant is no exception. I wouldn't hesitate to use whatever they make. The retailer I bought it from through Revane shipped it right away. There are no complaints either. I hope my experience with this product and the seller will help you make a decision. Good luck with the project!
