There seem to be many of these multimeters from different manufacturers. I bought my first of its kind to control my solar system (I'm completely off the grid). I wired the meter to read zero amps and power when the solar panel is charging my batteries and vice versa when the battery is under load it will read all the numbers in full (volts, amps, power and energy. It works because of the above Having said that I have ordered another meter so I can monitor BOTH the solar array and the battery bank The next project is to rewire the solar panel and both meters (and a LED 0-100% battery voltage meter in a larger box, again in my living area, I STRONGLY recommend these meters if you need to monitor system voltage and current consumption in amps, wattage and energy consumption.
