Review on Norpro Deluxe Cherry Pitter Suction by Patricia Goliday

My mother had one years ago, the plastic was yellow. I've always found this so efficient which is why I finally bought one for freezing cherries in bulk. It makes a huge squishy mess so I used it on a decking table. HOWEVER, after using it to remove about 8 cups of cherries, I accidentally saw a couple of pits in my bowl. I started checking the pitted cherries and ended up going through each one: About 1 out of 7 cherries still had a pit inside, DESPITE the cherries were pierced with a pit. I've tried this with both softer cherries and Bing's traditional hard cherries and both have had the same results. I sent it back through Revain and luckily Norpro got my money back.
