Review on High Sensitivity Natural Gas-Propane Detector for Home Kitchen - Propane Leak Alarm, Natural Gas Leak Detection - Light White by Leonard Henry

I connected this device hoping it would alert us in case of a leak. The light is on, everything seems fine. However, I had to replace the igniter in the oven and when I checked the newly installed igniter the gas escaped, we smelled it but this wretched detector didn't. I thought it might be too far from the oven. Got an extension cord, put it in the oven, tried again, smelled gas again but the detector didn't work. I was replacing some smoke alarms with smoke/carbon dioxide alarms and came across this alarm. I was hoping this would work, just to feel a little more secure. Unfortunately, this failed miserably. By the way, I noticed that there were some good reviews but they said they would know more when it came out. I would recommend that you test it to see if it warns you. If anyone tests this and it works please let me know, maybe just maybe I have a non-separable one.
