The TDS meter is excellent. The boys and I had a lot.

The TDS meter is great. The boys and I had a lot of fun testing various absolutely clear waters. Rainwater had the lowest TDS at 7, bottled water at 25, softened water at 235, city water at 450 and well water at 900. Everything looked like pure water. The test kit was fine except the lead and pesticide test was unregistered. The other test completed as expected but must be followed. I found a cheaper test kit that has all the tests I need, a strip, which is a lot easier.
