PRODUCT NOT ADVERTISED GREEN PAINTED CLEAR GLASS
I bought these green Grolsch glass bottles after having success with similar amber homebrew bottles. After receiving the package, I hand washed the bottles in the sink with regular liquid detergent. The bottles were not made of green glass but of clear glass tinted green. The green paint has peeled off and looks awful. I'm also concerned that paint chipping will make them no longer food safe. They still appear to be waterproof and thick enough not to explode, but buyers should beware. Maybe just buy clear or amber bottles.
