I considered this device as a repeater in the first place, I didn’t want to pull wires throughout the apartment, but I ran into a number of problems: 1. Wired mode (LAN to WiFi conversion) - one port, it is also an input or output depending on the operating mode, which is cool - a strong signal at a distance of 5 meters gives the initial speed from the router, then the speed drops, at a distance of 7-8 meters 100 Mbps maximum, at a distance of 10 meters - 20 Mbps maximum. 2 walls at a distance of 8 meters does not break through. 2. Repeater mode - installation in a socket, the maximum distance is 5-8 meters from the router, the maximum speed from such a distance is 100 Mbps, over this distance the red light comes on - a weak signal, and of course there is no connection. All settings of this device are carried out almost automatically, the interface is poor without the ability to adjust the network type "AX" (Wi-Fi 6), channel, frequency in this firmware version. Speed ​​​​mode - i. E. receiving a signal at one frequency, distributing it at another frequency - it's not worth the candle, the signal level does not increase, nor the speed, nor vice versa. (2->5, 5->2)
