Review on White Light Blocking Pleated Fabric Shade - 72 in x 36 in, Redi Shade Original Arch by Christina Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I want perfect arches.

Unfortunately, my arched windows are not perfect arches. They are shorter than they are wide, quite a bit. This means I had to trim the curtains after cutting them to the length needed for the longer window pieces. It wouldn't be too bad, but cutting through the fanned out material is a bit of a chore depending on how precisely you want to cut the shades. Heck, cutting out the entire shade on the first cut is a pain in itself. I cut it a bit with scissors and then cut through the rest of the shadow with a saber saw. Not exactly smooth, but I think close enough to get the job done, as does the rest of the trimming. I knew I wouldn't be perfect so I settled on "good enough" for now as I was more interested in blocking some of the heat of the summer sun that heats my bedroom and office space in my home. would i buy this one again? I would probably do that. They were decent value for money and were reasonably priced. They arrived quickly, were well packaged and came with fairly clear instructions as well as a tape measure on the side of the product so it's easy to find the right spot to cut the blinds for installation.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Difficult to remember, but it was
