Suitable for emptying the tanks of small mowers or snow blowers.
I purchased this pump after reading another review detailing its use for draining petrol tanks on mowers and snow blowers at the end of the season. This is exactly my purpose. Received it today and found I could pump gas quickly, but the siphon action really didn't last more than a few seconds. This is sufficient for my purpose, but I would not want to pump several liters. It was much better than my old siphon pump which had a pinch piston in the middle of the line that didn't pump at all and it was very difficult to get the siphon to work in a slow stream.
