To get the full potential of your mini amp you need 24v8a power. It delivers beautifully and never gets hot. Before that I had a 24v6a power supply and now I have noticeably improved bass at low volumes. You should do some simple wiring and maybe add an on/off switch. I don't hear any hum or buzz from the speakers at all. Now only time will tell its durability.
