We're happy with this. Previously it was a bit of a challenge to get our umbrella to hold, & this design seems to have done the trick. I like that it's metal. One reviewer said to somewhat put the bottom of your umbrella in it when twisting it in the sand, so that it doesn't fill up with sand. I think that's a good idea. We've tried it twice & so far so good.
- Seemed like the perfect gift for someone who spends lots of time at the beach!
- It may be difficult to remove sand from the anchor
