We've had it for several weeks and have cut all kinds of food with the right knife. All are still very sharp and cut well. They're a good weight so you don't have to worry about applying too much cutting force. made of stainless steel with a higher iron content. We always hand wash them and wipe dry, we live in a humid area of the US but this shouldn't rust anytime soon.
