It is all in one and most likely the BEST solution for connecting a 2016 Macbook Pro. You can forget to take all the keys with you. You simply have to take this stylish hub with you. Although I still have a few things to test, the hub is doing its job well so far. I tested all of the items below on my new 2016 15" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. The first good part is the pass-through battery charging. It gets the job done even when I connect multiple different devices to the hub. (e.g. charge iPhone 6 and iPad Air at the same time with a MacBook Pro) The second and perhaps most important feature is connectivity, I have no problem using all the features it offers, all three USB ports work since it's an Apple dongle, my monitor works great with an HDMI port, SD and micro SD cards from my old song collection and a DSLR camera, and of course the USB-C port works just as well, even for charging (as mentioned above).Thirdly, what sets this product apart from others is its stable access to multiple devices.I've tried connecting all three USB ports when connecting to my 23rd via the HDMI port -inch ASUS monitor was connected and it worked fine. However, I have yet to test higher/higher resolution monitors. The fourth and my favorite feature is the design. The color and design just go with my MacBook Pro SPACE GRAY which is even better than the dongles Apple sells for their products! Another good thing about the design is that the hub has that short extra cable to connect it with to your laptop. This gives you a stable connection, a better connection because you can use all three sides of the hub and better ergonomics because you can simply treat it as part of a charging cable. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a solution to a connection issue with a new Macbook Pro or possibly other USB-C laptops such as a 12" MacBook. I will update my rating when I try to use it for a longer period of time and after further testing. Pros: Can run through the charge even when charging other devices. Does everything the keys are supposed to do. Even a stable connection when multiple devices are connected through a hub Excellent design in terms of both aesthetics and practicality. Cons: It lacks some connections like an Ethernet port or Lightning. 2. Update April 29, 2017: After 4 months of use, I still find it the most useful product I've bought for my 2016 MacBook Pro. I've used it so many times, plugging and unplugging many different things - projector, monitor, external hard drive/solid state drive, scanner, printer, USB stick, SD memory card, cameras, smartwatches, smartphones etc. It has never had it a problem with compatibility and charging efficiency. The cable is durable enough to withstand heavy use and varied conditions - hot/cold/wet/dry etc. This is an amazing product that can be used repeatedly for years. If you are looking for an even more elegant and compact USB and SD card connection solution, check out their new product: EXCLUSIVE for the new Macbook Pro 2016 - CharJenPro PREMIUM USB-C MacStick Adapter: THUNDERBOLT3 TB3 - 5K@60Hz. or two 4K @ 60Hz / Type-C / 2 USB 3.1 / SD + Micro SD card readers (space grey), which I also liked.
