Bought 3 different glasses to evaluate the potential of a replacement whiskey glass. Those were the winners. Mountains pouring into the glass destroy the flat bottom. This allows the ice balls and squares to hover above the ground, allowing the whiskey to chill more efficiently. The glasses are heavy enough to make the right impression. Mountains are a beautiful design feature that doesn't spoil the visual perception of the drink, unlike crystal details that refract light and distort the image. The edge is thick, so it is not easy to break. The only small drawback is the height. Not enough for my taste. I would appreciate if the base was an extra 0.5 inch thick to raise it up. It would also add some weight. However, this isn't enough to stop me from ordering 12 more for a home in Colorado.
