Really, the worst part of this base is how heavy it is. Make sure you have help! I didn’t. I had 2 people bring it inside for me, but I assembled it all my myself. I just followed the easy directions and had no issues assembling it. This aside, it’s really a wonderful base. I put my hybrid mattress on it and it works great! I have severe back issues and to be able to adjust the position of the bed, really helps relieve pressure on my spine. Also, if you have any breathing issues, it has a position for snoring that I use to help me breathe easier. I’m 5’3” and I use the lowest leg position and I can get on the bed just fine with my 12” mattress. It’s really been a blessing and half the price of what’s in the stores.
