Review on DORMAN 751 296 Mercury Replacement Regulator by Tim Thornton

Purchased for a 2009 Ford Escape. The old ones broke the motor so I figured why not just replace the whole unit. The new Dorman just didn't seem powerful. To be honest I think it will be good for maybe a year or two before it breaks. However, it works out of the box, except that the window goes up and down quite slowly. Easy to install and extract various videos online. 7 screws holding the controller/motor which took less than 10 minutes but the door skin and panels took about half an hour. Generally give yourself an hour and installation should be easy.
