After the entire spool was used, the leather strap seemed very dry and brittle. It wasn't suitable for weaving, as it easily tore when trying to tighten the knot - it just couldn't take much tension. He worked very well for packaging projects. A big complaint is that it's flaking off in little white pieces all over like scales.
