Review on Whirlpool Undersink Compatible Cartridges CFS by Omar Austin

I have been using Whirlpool DB-1 filters for about 3 years and have been very happy with the efficiency and clean tasting water. Bought these universal filters because Revain no longer had the original spa filters. Installation was the same as the original filters, but everything has changed since then. After installation, the water pressure was high, while with hot tub filters, the cold water pressure was reduced. But that's the only positive thing I can say about these filters. I have to assume that the water pressure was great, because this universal filter didn't work! Water has an unpleasant taste (chemical) but not like chlorine. There was no information in the filters so I have no idea what it is. I will throw away these filters. A complete waste of money. If I could I would give minus stars for the taste and the price.
