Review on CUIUIC Upgraded 17.3" Portable Monitor - Mountable, Ultrawide Screen, Wall Mountable, OTG, Flicker-Free, Lightweight, HDMI, 60Hz by Bill Fisher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good brightness, size and portability, but poor backlight

Updated rating. The monitor company contacted me about my problem. They were very kind in sending me a replacement and it was definitely a lot better than the original I bought. At first I gave 3 stars but now well deserved 5 stars. For the price, this is a pretty good monitor that can handle your everyday needs. Their customer service was great too, which is very rare these days. I would recommend this product and company. Original Rating Good: I've been using this monitor for about 2 weeks and so far it's doing its job. It is ideal as a second or third monitor when travelling. It is very thin and easily fits in a regular computer bag. The 17-inch display is more than large enough if you need a portable monitor but don't want to sacrifice size too much. Of course, going from 24 inches to 17 inches is a compromise, but again, this size is great for a portable monitor. I appreciate the full size HDMI port as most portable monitors seem to have mini HDMI like another brand I own. The brightness quality is also good. Cons: As someone mentioned in a previous review, colors and lighting mismatch. If you see the photo I added, the top left and bottom right corners don't match the rest of the screen. If you have a dark background, you can easily see the difference in the backlight. It doesn't seem too noticeable on light colors, but it's very annoying for people like me who love the dark theme. The colors also seem a bit off. It appears to have a greenish tint. However, this was fixed by adjusting the RGB colors and doesn't bother me much when working.
