Review on π§ CTA Tools 5043 Crankshaft Damper/Holder Tool - Ideal for Ford 2.5L/2.3L/2.0L Engines by Chad Guinn
Actions performed after a tool error.
CTA 50243 broke and split a square hole near the corner of the frame. Unfortunately the tool was delivered to Revain more than 30 days before I was able to use the tool for the first and last time. I tried adding the recommended 90 degrees after tightening the crankshaft pulley bolt to the recommended 74 ft.lbs. The operation missed the target by 15 degrees. I wrote to Clark's Tools and Equipment regarding the CTA and asked for a replacement as soon as possible. I don't know what could happen now.
