These are pretty colors, but there were a few things that made it lose a star. I wouldn't suggest this kit for beginners because of the first issue, since you may feel discouraged at it being hard to work with.1. These colors *have to be cold*. They were super sticky and hard to work with until I saw another review saying to put them in cold water if they were sticky. Once I did that, they worked great.2. The cat's eye color isn't opaque when you use it, so it can be hard to get the solid navy color and sharp purple line. Maybe I didn't use the magnet for long enough, but the color of the polygel that the purple flecks are in is a jelly, so it's see through.3. My cat's eye color had leaked in the package. I managed to get the polygel off of the nail file that came with the kit, but I was concerned about using it. The response from customer support ended up being to squeeze it out put it in an opaque jar. I still have to find one, so I haven't been able to do that yet.
