This is a great product! With 24 hens from two different chicken breeds, we are always surprised at the variability in the size of the eggs laid in the different seasons. We charge less for a dozen small eggs than for 12 large ones, and we almost never get very large eggs (although only large and very large eggs can be expected in either breed). Ultimately, people buy our eggs because the chicks are well cared for and fed properly (excellent quality/non-GMO local food, lots of bugs and kitchen/garden waste, lots of space to run around = VERY ORANGE egg yolk), but it was interesting to see the details of the returns every day.
