Ditch the plastic and go for glass! At first It looked like the tops weren't sealed because of how the blue part sits, where it looks uneven around it. I put water in a bowl and turned it upside down. It did not leak. As you can see the inside has a little lip where you can easily take the blue part out and in for washing, so no gunk stays underneath it.Just make sure the blue part is all the way in, otherwise you may have a leak. We put the glass part in the dishwasher and the handwash the lids for longevity. The big bowl is perfect for salads and fruit salads. The smaller bowls are prefect for side dishes that can be reheated in the microwave (without the lid on).
