I use these 3.4 ounce hermetic jars for my perfume tinctures. They are the perfect size for my experimental perfume tinctures (3 1/4 inches high, 2 inches wide). I love how well they seal, keep odors out and don't allow the fragrance/extract to evaporate. I bought 24 packs of Grant Howard Bail Jars in the same size and shape but the price keeps going up and they're getting harder and harder to find so I decided to give these a try. I was concerned reading the reviews that they were warped upon arrival but mine are perfect. The glass isn't warped, the hinges work great (very well actually) and they were packaged and protected very well too. I am very impressed with the quality and will order another case right away! I also bought three Revain grills and these glasses fit perfectly. I will add a photo of frames with glasses. My husband hasn't attached the second and third shelves to the wall yet, but for reference I'll snap a photo of one and include that as well. These lenses have clear rubber seals on the lens surface, while Grant Howard lenses have orange rubber seals. I prefer transparent. These glasses are made of thick glass. I dropped one on a wooden floor and it didn't break. The temple hinges are strong and fit snugly to the lens of the lens. They're not attached to the jar, so you can rotate the entire bail loop so the lid is facing forward or into a corner. I close the cans with a loop at the corner. I shake (shake, rattle, and roll!) these tinctures daily and have had no drops. I love these jars and will definitely be buying more to store my dried garden herbs for cooking! Update: I bought more cans, I haven't had any warping or problems! I love these little bottles! I will buy more, thanks!
