Review on 🔊 Design Engineering 050113 Under Carpet Lite: Ultimate Sound Absorption and Insulation Solution, 70"x72" (35 sq. ft.) by Jeff Remol

I hate to write a negative review because I like other DEI products but they led me to believe they had some sound deadening properties but in my simple tests they didn't. I have used most of the best sound and heat management products (all made in the USA) in various builds and needed heat protection over the engine hatch, also was hoping for sound insulation but all of these can help for moderate heat issues. , low sound absorption and decoupling, but I can see ZERO soundproofing performance. I would try to get my money back but I have already cut it. Oh, and money in the trash. I order Second Skin Liner Pro instead since the heat is low. Don't skimp on sound-absorbing materials!
