This is a beautiful lamp, very bright and easy to use. The remote control is very nice and easy to control the brightness and hue of the LED. BUT. But he just places most of his output straight down. the ceiling and the tops of the walls receive very little light. If the cabinets or walls are not white, they will remain dark because this lamp emits very little light on the sides. Our wood effect cabinets, lacquered valances and black appliances require a light source with a large side outlet. It's still a great light, just find out where you need the light before you buy.
