Review on 💻 Targus PA248U Laptop Cooling Pad by Kenneth Martin

If you want to get straight to the point quickly, here it is: I don't work on my laptop without it. Period. Two years ago my laptop literally melted (chronic overheating not only melted my power cord but also my motherboard). It was officially broken. When I bought my newest laptop, the first accessory I invested in was this cooling pad. Well, here's the amazing part. I have an Area 51 m5550 and with this VERY small investment it has been running successfully for over a year WITHOUT EVEN OVERHEATING! As you may know, Alienware is notorious for its cooling issues, but this little guy kept my big laptop cool at all times. How do I know it works? A few months ago I unplugged my laptop from the cooling pad and forgot to plug it back in. After about an hour I noticed that it was getting very hot. After letting the angry alien cool down, I reconnected the cooling pad and haven't had any overheating issues since :D Now I should note that this is my second cooling pad. Since my laptop is either always on or in sleep mode, I cannot turn off the product. So, after a year of constant work and lack of cleaning, one of the fans "broke" loudly. I find that surprising given the circumstances. I replaced the sick cooling pad with the exact same thing. and again I walk calmly and happily. Simply put, this little thing potentially extends the life of your laptop and creates a more comfortable work environment (no more fried fingers!). Seriously, I won't work/play without it.
